My Favorite Spooky Reads
/The spooky season is here. I love fall and all the fun that goes along with it. Here are some cozy reads with a paranormal flair that you should check out.
For a fun, spooky vibe, check out Molly MacCrae’s The Haunted Shell Shop series. These are set in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and are full of twists and turns and a town full of quirky characters.
Olivia Blacke’s Ruby and Cordelia mysteries are a must-read. A young woman moves into an apartment and finds that not only is it furnished, it comes with the ghost of the previous tenant. The pair learn to communicate and become an unlikely team of sleuths.
I love Paula Charles’s A Hometown Hardware series. Her character is adjusting to after her husband’s death, running the family business, and she frequently stumbles on a murder or two. I love her subtle ghosts who pop in from time to time.
Check out Allison Brook’s the Haunted Library series for all kinds of adventures in a world full of books.
I also have two Halloween themed books that have ghost hunters, haunted places, and a couple of dead bodies. Check out Teddy Bears and Ghostly Lairs in the Jules Keene Glamping series and Life is But a Scream in the Mermaid Bay Christmas Shoppe Mysteries.
